Pell-eligible SCC student parents with children ages 6 weeks to 11 years of age.

Southeast Community College Child Development Center has been awarded the Childcare Access Means 父母 in School Grant from the United States Department of 教育. This grant will fund partial child care 援助 to Pell-eligible SCC students who need CDC care for their children. Applicants will be selected based on need and 空间可用性. Once a student is receiving 援助, they will remain eligible for 援助 as long as they remain Pell-eligible and continue progressing in their schooling. The CDC has three services to help serve the child care needs of Pell-eligible SCC student parents. CCAMPIS基金 will fund partial child care 援助 based on SCC student need and 空间可用性 within the CDC.

Pell-eligible SCC student parents need to 提交申请, along with a copy of their Pell Award Notification letter and current class schedule to the CDC prior to the deadline for the following term. SCC学生家长会 be required to have an initial interview with the Grant Coordinator and semester meetings following award of 援助.
