- Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the plan of care using the nursing process to meet the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the individual.

Nursing Judgment provides a rationale for provisions of safe, quality care and for decisions that promote the health of patients within the family context.

Spirit of Inquiry questions the basis for nursing actions. This competency considers patient preferences and evidence based practice at the Practical Nursing level.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional growth integrating evidence based practice through lifelong learning.
